This piece is said to be one of them.Today, plates and other crafts featuring the Tokugawa “Mitsuba Aoi” (three-leaf hollyhock) crest can still be found, but this is considered a particularly valuable item. The use of gold in the Mitsuba Aoi crest is especially rare.
